RULES

2022 to Present RULE CHANGE

Rule change tweak for 2026:

Due to a few late posting situations, we have changed the posting deadline to a hard deadline, here it is. 9:30PM THE DAY BEFORE THE GAME is the hard deadline for scores to be in. Earlier is ALWAYS better and most of you have scores in way before this deadline.

I’m attending multiple games this year and will no longer take scores on gameday so my suggestion is send in scores once you get the 24 hour reminder the day prior, or shortly thereafter. I will post scores once they are all in. You should have all day on gameday to check Facebook or this site to make sure your score is recorded accurately. I have 20 scores to receive, record and post. You have but 1 PREDICTION to make and 1 PREDICTION to check.

I REPEAT, 10 MINUTES BEFORE KICKOFF IS LATE AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. That’s the new rule so be aware.

OUR LATEST RULE ADDITION:

We understand life happens and scores don’t get in every time, but when this becomes a trend we believe interest is waning. At Duckpoll, we are keeping our play roster at 20 and if players do not meet the posting deadline for scores 3 times in a row, we feel it’s time to drop that player and find someone who truly wants to be a member of Duckpoll.

A 4 point penalty will be added if you name the wrong winner in a contest. There has always been a penalty of 2 points but we have increased this to 4 points in 2025 as a test and will keep it 2026 till further notice.

I accept scores ALL WEEK.

FORMAT: To give me a score, Oregons score ALWAYS GOES FIRST.

If you don’t tell me who will win then the format takes over and first score you give me will be Oregons.

This is why you should check your score every week. The mundane can be complex if you let it.

Cell phone and Email are still the same as last year.

GO DUCKS!!!!!
