OK, Strong offensive line against our baddass Defense. Their Offensive line is one of the best in the PAC. I’d say the strongest we’ve seen this year so a real test for our Defense. Can we get to Eason enough to rush him enough to affect his comfort? Can we put the Huskies in third and long enough and hold on third to get the ball back? Can our Defense hold the point total down once again? It’s a tough test to be sure.
It’s not all not on our Defense but Washington will try to take the air out of the ball and possess the ball as much as possible. It’s just what teams do against us. Peterson will do no different for sure. Possession will be the thing no doubt. Everybody’s afraid of Oregon running the score up on them. So, we just need scores when we get the ball and drive, drive drive.
The Husky Defense is no joke and Herbert will not be able to take his time to go through reads like he did with Colorado. Snap decisions and shorter passes might be the name of the game until they load the box then burn their ass. It’ll be a cat n mouse game but players have to perform flawlessly. An early lead is a must in my opinion but close baby.
