A win is a win. New age Chip Kelly era Duck fans annoy the crap outta me. I was on twitter the other day and some idiot posted, regarding the Redbox Bow, THERE WERE NO REAL WINNERS. I had to blast that idiot with, ARE YOU DAFT? 1 POINT OR 41, DOESN’T MATTER. A FREAKIN WIN IS SIMPLY THAT. A WIN. DON’T BURY THE LEAD, THE DUCKS ARE REDBOX BOWL CHAMPIONS…PERIOD. SO, YES THERE IS ONE WINNER. The Ducks played better Defense. So our receivers dropped a lot of balls. Concentrate on how well our Defense played. We covered their receivers really well. We got on the QB. This was a stout defense that I felt our smallish backs would have trouble running against. Hence the low…REALLY LOW, score. Nobody (almost nobody) saw that coming. So, let’s get right minded and consider a Win A freaking win. So what, it wasn’t a comfortable win. I’d rather have an uncomfortable unbeaten season than a .500 season with every other game a blowout win. Nuff said. Let’s get behind a really good defense and build an offense that kicks ass against good defenses in 2019. But a one point win…I’M GOOD WITH THAT.
