I felt good about our play. The outcome was sucko. Larry just recently barely got over our loss to Stanford, but after winning the game from start to (almost finish) just a few ticks away, hard to really just say “great learning experience”. All I have to say is, at least it was a fun game to watch. oh, except for the whole losing part. Yeah, that bit. Once it went to OT, I knew we were done for. Big ass receivers against our little guys. It was like bringing a knife to a gunfight. So yeah, I’m over it…the hell I am
I was asked, If I were to choose today, who would be ranked number two behind Washington what would the pac12 North ranking be. Honestly, I don’t have enough data to even rank Washington number 1. I have not seen us on the road, let alone close. Stanford looked weak as hell except in OT and they just took advantage of our young mistakes. Other than that they looked weak and vulnerable. Washington almost got taken by Arizona State but the time ran out as it often does at the end of a game (thank you mr. obvious). So, not enough data to make said conclusion. Eyeball test thus far, Oregon looks awfully good. Just tighten up the center play, don’t get down on yourself when stuff doesn’t go right…play through, and ABC, Always Be Closing but protect the rock. Defense…DAMN
